For his project at the Fundació Gaspar, Ken Okiishi intensfies—like the sun through thick glass shining on raw data– his work on how data collides with matter to produce new ways of seeing and thinking. Working in and out of the hidden atmosphere of the private spaces of the foundation, in particular a space formerly used as an apartment for artists, Okiishi produces an intimate response to a fragile, and potentially luminous, set of architectural and historical conditions.
