Pilar Corrias is excited to present 'Tala Madani — Animated Paintings', a curated programme of the artist's video animations at Stadtkino Basel on 16 June 2022.
Tala Madani's work brings together various modes of critique about gender, particularly masculine and feminine stereotypes, as well as questioning westernised idealistic notions of childhood, family and the art historical canon. This programme presents an overview of her imagery, references and tones.
