Craig Burnett joins senior team as Director of Exhibitions
Pilar Corrias is thrilled to announce Craig Burnett is joining the senior team at Pilar Corrias, London as Director of Exhibitions.
Pilar Corrias says, "We start the year on an exciting and positive note. Craig's extensive experience and insight brings a fresh approach to develop and enhance the exhibition programme as we continue to build and grow."
In this newly-created position, Burnett will focus on the exhibition programme while working to advance relationships with curators, collectors and institutions. "I’m excited to join Pilar Corrias gallery as it continues to expand and welcome new artists to the international roster," comments Burnett.
Burnett has worked at Tate Modern, Blain|Southern, Sprüth Magers and White Cube. Most recently he was the Senior Director at Frith Street Gallery. He is the author of Jeff Wall (Tate, 2005) and Philip Guston: The Studio (Afterall / MIT, 2014/2020) as well as articles and essays on Stan Douglas, Nicolas Poussin, John Stezaker, Emma Hart, John Ashbery, Dana Schutz, Henning Strassburger, Isuma, Mark Manders, Rachel Howard, Luca Bertolo, Stephen Waddell and Geoffrey Farmer among others.
